As Love, The Locals event has grown we have recognized the need to further involve ourselves in the community. We love creating an event centered around shopping local, and in turn have noticed the community aspect of it that has formed naturally. It is our desire to further involve our community, and find a local cause or organization to help give back to each event. A portion of admission sales will go towards different needs in our Lincoln community.
This year we are excited to be joining efforts with Lincoln Firefighters Association in contributing a portion of admission towards Operation Warm!
Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence and hope through the gift of a brand new winter coat to local Lincoln school children. Simply having a warm coat can encourage attendance in school, a boost of self esteem and encourages play with peers! We are excited to partner with Lincoln Firefighters Association IAFF Local 644, as they have successfully gifted over 3,000 new coats on children since 2014. We LOVE this!

Our Holiday event in 2018 was the first year we started this give back portion of the event, and a portion of admission was donated to Wonderfully Made. Wonderfully Made is a Lincoln organization that provides opportunities for kids with special needs in our community.
